Features and Points of Interest
The 11-mile paved corridor passes through both suburbs and countryside in northeastern Ohio. A highlight of the trail is the MetroParks Farm. This 400-acre working farm sprawls along the western edge of the trail and offers educational programs, tours, and agricultural displays. The farm is a popular field trip destination for local school kids.
The Mill Creek MetroParks Bikeway is part of Great Ohio Lake-to-River Greenway in eastern Ohio. This greenway extends from Lake Erie near Ashtabula, south to a point near East Liverpool along the Pennsylvania border.
The proposed Ohio River Trail beginning at Coraopolis links the Montour Trail to the 110-mile Great Ohio Lake-to-River Greenway in Ohio forming approximately a 500-mile contiguous mega-trail system from the Great Lakes Region to our nation’s capitol!
